For those who have used it, how easy is it to make hi resolution characters?
One I have in mind is semi-organic, kinda like master chief..
so
should I get MudBox? or should I stick with max?

Mudbox has a good flow for making organic models.
I'v heard it has a good user interface witch is easyer to understand then zbrush.
What do you mean by semi organic?

Combine synths are semi-organic in nature. Even the organic parts don't look so organic at times.

@phase: ya what atty said
@atty: yes
@ warsaw: that's what i'm asking, is it easier to model it in max, or in mudbox.

Thats a very horrible question
You can make good looking reaslistic organic models with mudbox zbrush max or any other modelling program if you know what you'er doing.
Simply put yes you can make organic stuff faster in mudbox, but it will take knollage of mudbox and anaomty to make realistic organic models.

I'm willing to learn MudBox.
I just want to make models easier. Organics are shit with Max.

We can't tell you how easy it is to learn. That entirely depends on you. You can get a trial, so why don't you try it out?
