Matchmaking sucks anyway, just join a populated game, you don't have to be matched up with others based on a 'rank.'

but its nice to have designated levels

its such a small communtity atm, play enough games u get to know whos out of your league and avoid them, or only take them from behind

I don't see what everyone has against Matchmaking, I actually enjoyed the feature. Sure it had some flaws in Halo 2 but it is still a great feature.

Realistically, there would be no use for it.

The amount of people, whether they are a part of the active community or not, would not regulate a regular amount of games/players to be matched.

Imagine it, Halo 2 Vista with people having level 10 after 5 weeks of playing. And that would be the highest level.

It would be like There (http://www.there.com), just with less people. (I'm referring to the sports in There.)

Although I haven't tried it, isn't there a Trueskill function in GFWL that kind of emulates matchmaking?
