Importing Halo 2 Vista Custom Maps

I just downlaoded about 3 or 4 maps... nevermind 4 new Halo2Vista Maps and i placed them in my maps folder. started up the game created a new game went to custom maps tab and saw nothing was there. Is there something more that I need to do beside place the maps in my maps folder...? :eyesroll:
