Well I just went out and bought the game and when I put the disk in I get the error message "The procedure entry point CreateProcessWithTokenW could not be located in the dynamic link library ADVAPI32.dll." I have heard that people have been playing on XP and I am just wondering how because I don't have Vista.

Did you read the little note on the front that says "Requires Windows Vista™"?
EDIT:

If you actually bought it, then maybe we can help.

I know how to fix that, but i'd like some proof that you actually bought it. Then again, it will keep you locked out of MP even if you bought it. :)

Okay thanks that's all I really needed to know. I'm gonna go install Vista on VirtualPC and play it then, hope that works.

Yea that will work. If you have a tank computer.

He's probably going to pirate Vista since he's unscrupulous enough to download the game (although sometimes H2V can be so frustrating it may not even be worth pirating).
To prove you have the legal copy, photograph it. Then we'll help you. We don't encourage piracy here unless it's for porn (which is rather overpriced).

You know, if he's like me, he most likely doesn't have a digital camera.

heh, that's funny sad, but then again all you need is a film camera, a roll of film all most all used up, some money, and a car go to walmart and have them put the pics on a CD and then he can post a pic. Or if he has a scanerhe can just stick it on the scaner and hit "scan" or something like that.

-OR- He could get into the new age where we have digital cameras that allow you to upload within minutes! And it's free after you buy the camera!
Why not just get a picture of the receipt with his name wrote in it?

You told the other guy you knew how to fix the problem but he needed to provide visual proof,

You need to upload your images to an image host such as imageshack, linking to images on your computer will not work.

I am guessing that since no one has posted since the 11th that this is a dead thread?
