I followed all 2 tutorials on halomaps.org. Even making a simple box map. It compiles the level fine, but when I try to open it in sapien, it gives me "This file is corrupt" error. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Here's what it looks like in the compiler:
--- yeh.ass
processing environment geometry...
### WARNING: Found duplicate shader collection name "shared" in:
c:\program files\microsoft games\halo 2 map editor\tags\scenarios\shader
s\shader_collections.shader_collections
### ERROR: Unable to find shader "material #68".
### ERROR: Unable to find shader "material #69".
=== writing out structure 'scenarios\multi\yeh\yeh':

1233 vertices, 1093 points and 2182 triangles.
collision bsp:
6 planes, 6 nodes and 1 leaves,
1153 surfaces, 2244 edges and 1093 vertices.
structure:
0 portals, 1 clusters and 278 subclusters.
0 environment objects of 0 distinct types.
=== imported structure 'scenarios\multi\yeh\yeh' in 0m 04.945sec
average cluster distance error: 0.00
maximum cluster distance error: 0.00
=== built visibility for structure 'scenarios\multi\yeh\yeh'
=== saving imported structure scenarios\multi\yeh\yeh
Press any key to continue . . .Is it because the materials or something? I mean I was able to make custom edition maps fine.
edit:
I just went through another video tutorial step by step...again. I'm starting to blame 3ds max 6.
edit: nvm again. I see that max 6 doesn't work with it. I tried 8, it worked.
But, I get to the part where I package the level, how come it doesn't show up in my maps folder?
