Vista photo gallery discolouring images?

An image open in the photo gallery program in Vista (bottom image) seems to discolour the image quite a lot:

Has anyone come across this? If so, is there a fix?

Only judging from the picture...it says Auto Correct...maybe it's automatically enabled.

I've had suspicions that the Vista picture viewer ran an image through some sort of filter. Photoshop always leaves my clouds looking much better.
