Oh no! Someone hijacked Ghost's account and is using it to shamelessly advertise!

Not really, try paying for getting a car engin rebuilt, Crank shaft and every thing, now that's a big chunk of money. I still have to pay for this last fix up on my rocky, the danm thing leaked more then the Leak master, holy cow did that thing leak. any ways back on topic...
goody, one more hosting place giving a dicounts. :/ and I don't have any thing to host on the web that I can't do already on my "No pay" plan (YouTube, zShare, and Imageshack) but if my dive club ever needs to have their web sight hosted some where else, I'll point them this way.:D [nina]Too bad Nu Skin is hosting their web site[/ninja]

I'd help out H2V.net anytime, but I'm right in the middle of the yearly subscription thing for my website. My host's got an even better deal than that, but in the interest of not advertising, I'm... not going to advertise it =P

Am I understanding this right? A year of hosting for just over 30 bucks? How does that work out?

Dreamhost are notoriously shit, so I don't think I'm going to take advantage of this. Good deal though.

I skimmed through that article and I can't ever remember a day where h2v.net was down for more than 10mins that wasn't due to ghost flipping switches.
I also haven't heard about any problems with customer support with ghost, but not sure if hes ever had to use them.
The only problem I can remember are those couple of days of really slowness. I wish I remember the exact dates because I think I know why it happened actually...

There were only two outtages in the past year that were caused by something on Dreamhost's end, totalling to about 4 hours of downtime. Dreamhost is very good about customer service, which is huge in the world of web hosts. A couple days ago I sent them an e-mail asking about billing, and I got a human reply literally within the next two minutes. When the site was running slowly, they switched me over to a server that wasn't being used as much free of charge. Everyone has something to complain about for shared web hosting, the trick is finding the one with the fewest complaints. Overall, I'm very happy with my selection.
