Transfer game save

I rebuilt my vista PC and I can't figure out how to transfer my saved game/profile from the files that I backed up before rebuilding.

So far i've copied the folders from C:\Users\Username\Saved Games
and the stuff from C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Halo 2\

Halo keeps reporting that the Profile is corrupted and has to be deleted.

So does anyone know if it IS possible to transfer previous saved games?

Saves are tied to your User Account/PC.

You can't go doing any of the following it seems:

A) Make an account and use the saves from another account.
B) Transfer saves from any computer.

It suckage, but I'm sure it'd take some delving into it, and file formattage to figure things out.
