Can't run custom maps on my pc?

hey just got h2 for vista and got into multiplayer and live etc. and downloaded 3 custom maps (all with a .map extension). but im unable to play them :mad:

1. which folder do the custom maps go into? currently they're in User\documents\my games\halo 2\maps

2. is there a problem because of my hardware? my computers 64 bit and halo 2 is in the program files (x86) directory

3. is there any software i need to import the .map files? i have halo 2 and the map editor installed

Doesn't mean anything, try re-downloading.

Provided you didn't accidentally put them in the documents\halo 2\maps instead of the documents\my games\halo 2\maps... and you're of course playing on the correct login... you seemed to have done everything right.

thanks i think ive found out the problem - one was corrupt and the other two were for halo CE! thanks for the help though :)
