Dedicated Server Problem

I've set everything up. Playlist and all. But when I type status in I keep getting offline-waiting to reconnect. Why does this happen? Help will be appreciated. The Windows service is runnning (Halo 2 Dedicated Server #1) Thanks in advance!

PS: If I were to close the command prompt window will the server still run? or does it need to be open the whole time? i thought cause it is a service you would not need to leave it open. this is just another question nothing to do with the problem above.:)

now it has said reconnecting for more than an hour but the offline is gone.

The tip here is to look into how many network cards you have and how many IP's you have..

I had put the update I just put it again but now the service doesn't work it says that a file is not found...

Is there a page on the internet showing the compatible routers/network cards?

Just make sure ur server has 1 ip and forward udp 3074 to it.
