View Full Version : Anyone with Tech knowledge, help!!!

Has anyone else out there ever had the bug where you play Halo 2 for 2 to 6 minutes, but then it crashes and Vista brings up this error message " The program as encountered a problem and needs to close?"

I've tried DirectX updates, Vista updates, Halo 2 updates, the 160.04 Nvidia driver, etc, but NOTHING works! PLEASE help before I go insane. :suicide:

I have had Halo 2 for three days, but I can't even get past the first level before it crashes!

Okay, Windows Vista 32bit, Gigabyte GeForce 8800 320mb 320bit PCI-E, 2gb Ram, Asus P5N32-E Sli Intel Socket 775 ATX Motherboard, Intel Core2 Duo E6600. I don'y believe anything else is neccessary.

Get the later 162.15 driver and give it a try.

You sure it will work? It's still a beta. And didn't Nvidia withdraw it because of problems? Thx anyway.

They withdrew if for shitty stupid problems. I'm running them now and am loving them, DV is back finally.

It helped a bit, guys, but it's still crashing. Any other advice, or do you think my Halo 2 (the product itself) is defective?
