Yet another question

This is yet another of my questions. How do you change the name of the server? It comes up as my gamercard name. How do I change it to something else? Also when I try and join a server my brother had made (dedicated, also he just created a silver account doesn't have an actual key) it comes up as can't join the server atm. And there is a lock on one of the pictures. How do I make this go away? Isn't it public by default? I tried privacy open but still nothing. Thanks.

You already said it, the servers name is the gamertag so make an account for the server with a gamertag what u want the server to be called. You will need a key for a server, use the live -key command to enter it before you can go 'live' with your server.

Is there a limit to how many accounts (gamertags) I can use with the same cd-key?

OK Thanks. But do you know why the game is "locked"? There is a lock icon next to the varient on the browser. And when one of my friends try and join it says unable to join party at this time even when the map has just started.

Use shot tags please, and it isn't locked. It is signifying that it's the original Slayer.

Thanks but why does it say unable to join party at this time? I have tried disabling the UPnP on the router and I have forwarded ports 88 and 3074 on my router and allowed them on the firewall. Why does this keep happening...

You trying to run server and play on the same machine or trying to join with xp? Maybe some more details? Can anyone else join?

I tried running on the same machine but it doesn't let me even if I create another silver account for the dedi and use my normal to join and no one else can either. tried port forwarding still nothing,
