Well, ive made the shader and the bitmap, it shows up ingame, the only problem is i cant figure out how to make it emmit light, So when i make the lightmaps the light is created, Ive put the emmisive colour as blue, and the emmisive power as 3 but it doesnt work correctly, Any help would be great

Would i need to add this in max?

;
Lightmap Only
Emits light in the light mapper but is otherwise non-existent (non-collidable and non-rendered)

can you please move this to other section sorry

What kind of light is this?

Is it Halo 1's style floating light bands? If so, try using this shader:

http://xcustomedition.com/shaders/lightblue.shader
(change your bitmaps and light values as needed.)

If you wanted it to be opaque, try this:

http://xcustomedition.com/shaders/redbloom.shader
(Same as above, change the color and power values as needed)

Hope those help you! (You wouldn't need that ; as well)

Then use my first shader I posted and adjust the emitting power to your pleasing.
