Oh noes. I thought this was comming along pretty well, but after showing this newer pic to someone, they said it looks horrible. :( I just want your opinions on it. It's not done yet, and if it is really bad, I dont want to waste my time finishing it.

it looks horible because your grip is plain right now. So far it actually looks pretty good. I have never seen teh origional gun, but your model looks to be well made. It is just lacking all the details and anything on the grip.

It's not that bad so far. I only see a few little errors. That curved edge near the rear of the gun needs to be more like a bevel, and not a hard edge.

I wish somebody would model something original...
Like a penis gun?

hey, they're both long and you cock them and they shoot stuff, I bet nobody has thought of that before /originality
someone needs to make a double-barreled, break-action shotgun. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_barreled_shotgun
They just pwn.

From the Wikipedia article:
"One significant advantage that doubles have over single barrelled repeating shotguns is the ability to use more than one choke at a time. Some shotgun sports, such as skeet (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skeet), use crossing targets presented in a narrow range of distance, and only require one level of choke. Others, like sporting clays (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sporting_clays), give the shooter targets at differing ranges, and targets that might approach or recede from the shooter, and so must be engaged at differing ranges. Having two barrels lets the shooter use a more open choke for near targets, and a tighter choke for distant targets, providing the optimal shot pattern for each distance." :haw:
Anyways, nice start on the USP, at least it looks better than mine D:
I scrapped it yesterday though.

Double barrel penis shotgun would be the shit. Also, update. :p It's 1.4k triangles thus far, but I still need to do the barrel, magazine, and front sight.

So rep me, damnit! But don't cry, you AR15 is purty. D: I would have sex with it. Can you get STD's from that?

Wait what? You want me to fatten up the gun? So you can eat it? No way. Seriously though, what do you mean?

it looks pretty good, except I'm not sure if the thickness of the gun is accurate, also the safety and other details seem a bit off but there good enough looking I think.. with a good skin itl look nice ingame, but I'm still not sure about the thickness the back seems too skinny, mb needs to be a bit bigger, can't tell from the render angles though, and I don't kno the real size from that reference picture.
other than that it looks good.
EDIT: wudnt mind seeing a wireframe also.
