Getting the Scarab Gun.

I am trying to get the scarab gun. I followed some walkthrough from other sites and I tried to get the one in Metropolis using the Banshee.

First I tried luring the elite shee into the tunnel and through the pipes, for all of those who know how, you have to get into the shee before the Loading disappears or before it says Loading... done. BUT, using my computer to play H2V, whenever it says Loading... in less than a split second (maybe a few frames afterwards) it finished loading! and the shee disappeared along with the elite! :eek:

The walkthrough says that when it starts loading the elite should disappear and you should be able to get in before the shee disappears afterward, but playing H2V, the loading is so fast you can barely notice the elite disappearing before the shee does (they seem to disappear at the same time). :eyesroll:

This is really frustrating, can someone help me by telling me what to do to get the scarab gun using the Banshee please?

I believe you need to board it as you trip the load. Don't quote me though.

Here, I'll help.

When it's through the pipe, act like your pushing it, then, right when the screen like freezes up (or says loading), hold X and you should be able to get it.

thats the problem it doesn't freeze ,it loads in the blink of an eye :(

I have a pretty good computer and I could do it. Just stay pressed up against it in position to board. As soon as it crosses the threshhold and says "loading", board that sucker. No waiting for a freeze or hiccup required and pay no attention to the Elite.

I used the Sputnik and Black Eye skull, to launch myself up the bridge.

Thanks a lot, I got the scarab gun. and yea, care about nothing but just enter the banshee immedietely when Loading shows up.

I Just entered it when it was goin into that little cylender tunnel..thankfully right wen i was almost done boarding it said loading...done

I filmed this a while ago, lol I don't get scarab gun because the framerate was really low. But this is how you do it, it's alot easier with the ghost as you see I get stuck in some places.
