I have an onboard 6100 that im trying to disable. In bios under Chipset features, or Integrated perihperals I don't see Init display or something like that. Should I just stick in my nvidia 8600? or is there another way?

You first put the card into the motherboard and make sure it works. Then right click desktop > Properties > Settings > Advanced > Adapter > Properties > Driver > Uninstall. Then restart and install your new graphics card.

I just installed my 8600 a week ago. Disable your 6100 just by uninstalling it. THen restart your computer (making sure your 8600 is in all the way(I had a problem with it for some reason, my pc was detecting it, but the fan on it was spinning:confused2:, but I fixed it by taking it out and putting it back in)).
