I just put together my new PC with a friend of mine, and I'm happy to say it's a frickin' beast. I'm using integrated sound for the moment, but I'll eventually pick up a sound card. Anyway, my problem is that there's no sound in games. Windows Media player works fine, but when I fire up Half-Life 2, there's nothing. I'm sure it's not just a forgotten slider in the volume controls, that's obviously the first thing I checked. I'm running Vista Home Basic, and my motherboard is an ASUS P5B.
Any ideas?
