Middle one looks like a star-trek version of the SMG.

For some reason when I look at that last one, it makes me think of starship troopers (the movie). What is the purpose of its (imo) excessively large barrel? If I was a footman, I would want a weapon that didn't have any unneeded geometry and was the slimmest possible design.

I also hate magazines like the one in the first one. I'm not too knowledgeable on the purpose on that kind of design, but it seems pointless. I would think a flat one would hold more, but I guess its due to the spring...

I don't know, for me it's the other way around. The stubby design of the M4 just doesn't seam too enticing (and it kills the fragmentation effect at ranges shorter than that which the same bullet fired from the M16 would still fragment). Either way though, I don't like pea-shooters :p.
