Unforgivable... Please post these questions in the topic that it's relevant to, being "Tech Talk."

Your topics are deterring from the main idea of "Halo 2 Vista Editing & General Discussion"

As for opinions on cards, read the review from both customers, and professionals, do a google (http://www.justfuckinggoogleit.com) search for the card as I'm sure there will be reports on the card.

And once and for all, if you can't find an answer to your question on

google (http://www.justfuckingoogleit.com)

then take the time to find the appropriate spot for questions.

Thank you.

No not really, had that same card for a few days returned, I bet you can still look it up look ATI X1650PRO Open Box, yeah that will be mine ! It was ok, but you need a 500WAT power supply, and a powersupply connector to the graphics card, I just got a Nvidia 8500GT, cuz it was DX10, and had the same preformance of the X1650!

I am absolutely certain that card does not require a 500W PSU, maybe 250W. More memory does not mean it needs more power.

Do not expect better performance from a card because it's DX10, 8500GT is a piece of shit. Plus the PSU does not need a PCI-E power connector, the card comes with 2x4 pin molex to PCI-E power connector.

The card sucks right now, but 6 months ago it was awesome. I have an ATi X1600PRO, I tested it with H2V on my secondary rig, it gets some decent performance at Medium settings and 2xAA. The X1650PRO is way better, not to mention this one has 512MB. Go ahead it buy it since tis is a great card for the price but I recommend getting a Geforce 8600GTS instead. The X1650PRO won't stand up to the next generation of gaming. LOL Battlestations: Midway gets totally ripped apart by teh X1600PRO, let alone the X1950PRO i'm running. X1650PRO probably needs no more than a 400W PSU.

Memory doesn't matter unless your running at high resolutions and high AA.

Memory also stores textures.

Wouldn't make a difference considering that card.
