With every world that perishes, its army grows!

How do we fight a limitless thing that wishes only to embrace you?
The atrocity we plan, the last resort:
I pray that it doesn't come to that.

Theres a video, another star image and an "image" file that can't be opened. Oh wait, I just had problems with it. It works now. It's just a wall shot of a bump map or something.
Looking at it, it seems the forerunner style has drastically changed.........
wait wait wait whoooooa
I opened the image up in photoshop and brightened it, and this is what I got.

How do we fight a limitless thing that wishes only to embrace you?
The atrocity we plan, the last resort:
I pray that it doesn't come to that.

It looks like it goes off to the edge, I expect we'll have another picture when the next server opens up.
Opened and highlighted in IE7.

Dr Nick

I tried that, and nothing happened aside from the image being clearer.

"I speak to you of my intent
But intentions are eddies and whorls
And they change with the course of a stream
This stream becomes a river
And a cataract of logic and doubt
Who has the right to live?
The light with the will to create me?
Or dark with the will to consume?
Sometimes might is right
And sometimes the lamb must submit to the lion
My convictions are tested
My intentions now are fey and strange
Should I pursue a pyrrhic choice?
And rethink alliances?
And choose a new philosophy?
Right or might?
Truly I do not know
But you will, soon enough
For this is where the cataract floods
And drowns the boon of higher ground
"

Wait, where'd that come from, Baturkin?
DaneO'Roo
July 29th, 2007, 12:23 AM
Dam, I can't find anything on it, but after Noah was crippled by the lion, he sent forth a Crow, who refused to go, unsure of it's side, whether it was good or evil an the crow was destined to feed the prophet Elijah.
I'm not sure if that's exactly it, but I know it has something to do with that
*edit* oh hai, while I was reading some stuff, I noticed this of great significance, not sure f it's much related to that specific piece of text that Bacon posted, but:
Noahs Ark is the huge vessel described in the Hebrew Bible/Old Testament, book of Genesis and the Qur'an through which the Hebrew God saved Noah, together with the other seven members of his family.
So we have:
God - Supreme Being
Noah - Prophet/ Head Oracle (monitor)
Seven family members - 7 oracles (monitors)

So that means that one of them might be 16807 Adjutant Reflex.

Who says Adjutant Reflex is 16807? We don't even know if he's a monitor.

I don't know whether or not anyone has noticed this hidden in the middle of the Concept Art section at the Halo 3 flash site, but it seems like some knid of voice changer. What it's for, I don't yet know. Any ideas?
http://www.halo3.com/html/unlock.html
Also in the Media section, there is an Iris page. On it is a download for a "starter kit."
It's got some pictures and an embeddable .swf program that tracks the satus of the servers:
<object width="300" height="250">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo3/flash/monitor.swf "></param>
<param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param>
<embed src="http://www.microsoft.com/games/halo3/flash/monitor.swf " type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="300" height="250"></embed>
</object>

Sorry for the double post but if you put your mic up to the your speakers for the "unlock" thing it gives you this very weird resonating sound. Not really sure if it means anything but its really weird.....

Sound created when a transducer such as a microphone or electric guitar picks up sound from a speaker connected to an amplifier and regenerates it back through the amplifier.
