Anyone know how to fix this?

I've been searching google, and no luck so far. If it's a legitimate copy, call microsoft. The people that referred to this error before were all from *cough cough* sites, sadly.

I just re-installed vista a couple of days ago and wanted to install Halo 2 Vista again. I had to reformat due to my DELL crapping out. So I stuck with XP for a while. It might be because I tried to run it on XP with that wowloader. IDK I have to go to work...so I will try to see if those files are still on my computer...and delete them if they are. AND YES, I have a real copy of Windows Vista Home Premium too. If need-be, I will take a picture of that too. :P
Edit: I think I figured it out. I have a Halo 2 Vista folder already on here from when I tried it on XP. If I delete that, it will probably work. Gonna try.

its because you are running in XP. Period. There is a reason the game is VISTA only. Also, make sure you followed the instructions exactly on the wowlaoder. And you put the 32kb MF.dll in your c:\windows\system32 folder, and the 4kb one in your HAlo 2 folder.

That's Vista running on his PC in the Background there. Just in case you're misled that XP looks like that now. ;)

lol.
The thing that was causing the error was the old XP install. So I uninstalled it and it worked. :)
