The Rainman and Violent Cartographer Achievements

:confused: I have played every default map to the end in Halo 2 Vista, but have not received the Violent Cartographer achievement. And does anyone know what game variants have to be played to ge the Rainman achievement? Does anyone even have that achievement? Please help.

One of the default variants, from my experience.

Even then, I wasn't aware I had played through a whole game on all the maps.

The Rainman is much more difficult. That will result from hours of playing with at least 4 other people. It's usually the hardest to carry through with.

In my opinion, the achievments are dumb.

Rainman takes a group of 4 people specifically together for that purpose to get it, otherwise, you won't get it unless you know people who play stuff like team phantoms, ninjanaut, phantom king, and low ball. Just print out this list and cross the game type off every time you play it. Remember, if the gametype doesn't have a lock next to it, then it isn't the real gametype and you won't get credit for it.

Thank you dcemuser. And yes, that is very dumb... probably the stupidest achievement I have ever seen (I don't own an Xbox360, so I'm sure there are worse). Does anyone need this achievement? If so, add SPRTN79 to your friends list, and I will get this achievement for all of us one night. I'll just set the rule to one kill and go for it.

I expect Halo3 will have Achievement's! most Xbox360 games do.
Achievement's had'nt ben invented untill the Xbox360 came out & Halo2xbox is an Xbox1 game.

Halo 2 doesn't have achievents on the xbox or the xbox 360. Also Halo 3 (http://live.xbox.com/en-US/profile/Achievements/ViewAchievementDetails.aspx?tid=%09%5d%3a%15%18*iA r%07) does have achievements all xbox 360 games have to.

Oh god, please subscribe to a few technology magazines or something to improve your knowledge. The Xbox has no achievements (I'm sure you know that, you're just implying a what-if scenario), but it definitely wouldn't lag itself to death. I mean, if you can play online co-op in Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and still get smooth framerates with all that AI transmitting around, you can damn well unlock achievements and play a game at the same time.
