I've never tried it, I guess it could be possible. There might be some things to fix though.

Well, you'll be making lots of city maps, that's for sure...

You could theoretically even use SolidEdge if you use 3dsMax as your front-end (unless someone makes a Maya .ass exporter... I was planning on it, but frankly -- too much effort given the limited mod support)

That's not an individual basis... Bum and Nitro spent more than their fair share talking with the community -- especially giving out personal email addresses for feature-requests and constructive criticism.

But if the toolkit's standing on a crutch pleading for more soup; the developers can be the best people in the world... making effort developing tools would be much better served on a platform which has better potential.

Kudos to Kornman and Ghostie for their effort btw (along with Nick and everyone else who develops tools which I failed to mention). Not knocking H2V -- just saying direct-exporters would be a much better possibility had Halo2Vista have a larger userbase, more depth to the tools, and more 3rd party tool developers to start off in.

i think someone should make a maya exporter since you can get maya free and will provide a lot of people with a legal way of modeling without paying thousands of dollars
