Hi all, I have a few questions. First off, i currenly have 2x 160gb IDE Hard Drives, with letters C:\ and E:\. The C:\ drive being my Windows XP and general whatever hard drive. My second drive is specifically for games and game apps (Steam, Xfire, etc.).
I Ordered a 200gb SATA to replace my c:\ drive, and i got a 320GB HDD for my games (replacing the E:\ drive). I plan on partitioning the 200gb Hdd into 2 sections, each with 100gb, one for each operating system. I want to put Windows XP on one, and windows Vista on the second partition.
Here are my questions:
1. What is a good partitioning program? It has to be compatible with XP.
2. How would i go about doing this, as to not mess up the drive letter names? By default i believe it boots off of the c:\ drive.
Guidelines:
I need to move the 46gb i have on my c:\ drive onto the 1st partition of the 200gb HDD.
I apologise for being so vague, but one of my weak areas in computers is hard drives. Thank you in advance:D.
