Just curious, what monitor resolution does everyone use?

Is it an LCD? If so the highest resolution is usually the native resolution, you should use that to reduce strain on your eyes and prevent eye damage.

1680 x 1050 on my main, 1024 x 768 on my secondary comp. My Nokia 770 has like a 800 x 480 or something off like that resolution.

17'' and 19'' LCDs are both 5:4 1280x1024. It's the same with 20.1 to 22'', 24'' and 28'', etc. Just a larger pitch to accommodate some users.

1680x1050 on desktop monitor, 1280x800 on laptop (15.4" WXGA), and 1920x1080 on HDTV.
1280x1024 is a weird resolution...I mean it's 5:4.

I use 1280x1024 on my desktop because it's the highest standard resolution it can handle.

What are you going to use this data for? If you want a higher number of people's resolutions see the image bellow, it should give you a good indication of whatever you're trying to find out.

That's based off of Google searches though. I was trying to target the gamer audience. Nonetheless, it seems like that poll pretty much sums up the total sum of all the polls so far.
