Remember that program someone made (I can not seem to recall his name...) that made Halo CE maps into Halo Xbox maps? What if we could reverse engineer that program to make Halo 2 Xbox maps into Halo 2 Vista maps? Would this even be possible? Of course we would have to get his permission...Or, I can try to make a program like that. I'll need help through...

The program was called Magic, I'm sad that I lost my copy, and it only worked for Halo 1 maps.

Code, Korn already has a function like this planned for a future program of his. Development of tools for the Halo 2 Vista platform have not been worked out as far as HCE's. HCE has had quite a few years to get up to the level it is now, so just wait, and see what happens!

Well, the only thing that would help everyone is a file.....called H2.dll. It was said to be in the Halo 2 Map Editor folder, but when I try looking for that file, to doesnt come up. Anyone else have that file?
The reason why I ask, is because I want to help with the release of the Hacked H2ek. Thats all.

You would have to totally re-write the program (Magic, I believe was done by CLuis) since the architecture for the map files have greatly evolved from Halo 1. There is no such file "h2.dll" that comes with the game or its editing kit.
And if you want to edit h2v maps, you have to rewrite some parts of existing map editors as things were changed when the engine was ported.
