Well, I was playin H2V on campaign, and was on the level before Quarantine Zone and noticed some cool stuff, like:

-The little red tracer bullets the "Destructor Sentinels" fire
-The little missile pod-like homing missles that they also fire
-Blue sentinel beams (probably easy)

So, my question for that is, would these tags be useable for MP maps etc.?

Also, I noticed that the graphics on that level are a LOT better then most Halo 2 levels. There are a lot of bloom effects, cleaner, crisper textures, and added specular. Maybe I'm just crazy, but yeah, thats a few things I just noticed, and I wanted to share. Definately shows that Halo 2's graphic engine was not used to its full potential, at all, really.

I don't know about the weapon tags, but the back pack tags are their, I've seen them, I'd have to get some screen shots of them and number them.

If not those, I wonder if we could put in the the scarab gun when we get a tag extractor?

as it currently stands you have to recreate the shader tags by hand as I still haven't figured out a way to fully automate the process of reconstructing them. But I also haven't figured out how I will output all the information in the most usable form, that the user would need to do just that.

and yes, the sentinel enforcer's beam, rocket and needler are all weapons, but you'd have to modify another weapon to have the same properties since there are no FP animations

that or make a sentinel looking weapon for it.

well, we didnt seem to have trouble with FP stuff in Halo CE's custom weapons. Weird thing, about scarab gun shader that is..
