I've had really good recommendations from people I know, and I know they advertize in my area. HOWEVER.

In 2004, the company became more widely known by advertising in markets hundreds of miles from its nearest franchise... Sonic has also become known for featuring their advertisements in areas of the country several years before their restaurants arrive.

So,

I fail to understand the point of this! *shakes fist at sky*

Also, I'm posting this from Google Earth :downs:

I get commercials for places that are far away all the time. I dont know if it's a service provider issue or what. For fast food, I dont see the problem. Most people travel and if they see a commercial for an unfamiliar restaurant, they'd be more willing to eat there.

That's because you live in upside-down land, where Burger King is called Hungry Jack's :eng101:

Oh, that's 76 miles away, not 760. I dont see why you're complaining about a fast food restaurant only an hours drive away. You've probably got the same television subscription provider. I know Charter, my TV/internet provider has an empire hundreds of miles wide.

Well, I don't think you'd want to drive an hour out of your way to go to a restaurant.

I have Comcast. Even if their empire is also a few hundred miles wide, the network is still divided by city. I get local ads and public messages.
