Why can't people join my server for halo 1 when ever i make a server no one can join can anyone help me PLEASE! im using WINDOWS XP HE(home edition)

I had the same "problem" before. You need to open up a firewall or something, but I can't quite remember the steps since I haven't hosted my own server in months and my dad doesn't like me to open it.. You can easily find an answer by searching on google though.

check your fire walls, and check to see if your halo is up to date.

duse firewall have to be disabled?

you don't have to 100% disable it (although that's the fastest way) because doing so will also let malware infiltrate your computer. You need to open some ports or something. Have to check google, really can't quite remember.

you also need to forward your ports if your using a router:

You've gotta set up port forwarding on your router. As long as you can get into your router, check this (http://portforward.com/) out.
