My new rig.

Core 2 Quad: 4 cores @ 2.40GHz (Q6600)
4 GB (DDR2 800) RAM
Geforce 8800 GTX

Don't really need an invitation, just wanted to share my new specs. :)

That's nice..but quad cores won't help you with games...no improvements at all..since there are barely games that are fully programmed for dual core threating. :)

Prepare to be disappointed. :(

I hope that the final will be better than the beta thats for sure.

For the moment. But I bought this rig, to be able to play the games that still have to be released.

The updated version of the Source engine's going to support multiple cores,
and the UT3 engine supports multiple cores.. and as long as I can run Oblivion at 60 fps when I'm outdoors (Ingame ofcourse), I'll stay happy. What more could I ask for man :D

Also, who said I'd be using it solely for games?

Atty gets it. Sorry FlamingRain (http://www.h2vista.net/forums/member.php?u=47), but your system wouldn't take too nicely to Quake Wars. :/

Same here. The first few hours I thought it was just "meh". But then once I started playing it more, I started to like it more. It's really a nice game! :)

Oh, by the way. To those that didn't get a key: You can still download ET:QW Beta and play, but only "campaign", which is vs. bots.
