Brought to you by Dragon Wars. (http://www.dragon-wars.com/) :gonk:

I'll regularly add to the list as I run into new movies that look to be simply God-awful, or movies that had potential but most certainly are just the cake filler of the annual cinematic progression.

Also, something to fit into the latter category... Hitman. (http://media.movies.ign.com/media/499/499143/vid_2097148.html) :suicide:

Coulda been good if they spent an extra three hours in casting to find someone to replace Timothy Olyphant, he is just NOT meant for this role. Alas, it exists for the sole purpose of raking in whatever money it can scrounge from the ticket sales of disgruntled teenagers who will see whatever is in theaters to relieve the reality that they are now back in school.

Consummate listing:

Dragon Wars
Hitman
Skinwalkers
Thundercats, HOOOOO!!
Alvin and the Chipmunks

You know what though? Movies like that still get into theatres. And you can bet that the producers make millions off crap like that. H2V should get into the movie business. We'd make a killing.

Also, Skinwalkers. It's out already, but regardless, it blows.

I bet the Halo movie(when it comes out) is gonna to suck in a lot of peoples opinion, because with something as big as Halo, everyone always expects more than they get.

Which is why I'm ignoring what people say about halo 3.

Thundercats
Alvin and the Chipmunks
Oh my god don't remind me of that horridly embarrassing preview. I was looking down in shame because I felt as if looking at it would make me a retard. You would have to be toddler on an acid trip to enjoy that preview. Epic failure.

That's why you should try to not have any expectations. it's just like Halo 2, people expected too much from it.

As for a Terrible Movie, I think that most of them have already been said.

Daddy Daycamp was an extremely dull movie. I haven't seen the first one, but people say it's a lot better.

I know what you mean Llamamaster. When you're in a movie and it gets so embarrassing that you don't want anyone to know that you are in it. Even though your not the one that made the movie, you still get embarrassed. lol

There hasn't been a genuinely good year of movies since '04, though.

Hardly. There was Transformers and... nothing else? Well, Live Free Or Die Hard was good, but that's still only two movies.

Oh wait, there was a movie centered around ambiguously homosexual pirates at the end of spring (which still does not count as summer, mind you), and then there was... Harry Potter. Which nobody bothered buying a ticket for. :-|

If "John Rambo" and "I Am Legend" (both shelved for the Christmas movie season) came out during the summer, then your statement could've been confirmed.

Ratatouille? Bourne Ultimatum? Simpsons?
...Rush Hour 3? sure, it wasn't spectacular...but it did have it's moments.

I think it's the most movies ive seen any summer...and overall I'm pretty pleased with the ones I saw. (the aforementioned 4, transformers, and die hard 4)

oh and back on topic...well, chipmunks takes the cake. i'd say daddy day camp before it came out, and the other Rock movie. Not a big fan of Bee Movie either.

I would agree to that, but 47 doesn't have a European accent.
