I love it so far, I'm taking German.
Oh, and I'm in honors biology even though I've never really been in a biology class. Or learned any biology.

Already started Sophmore year. I despise public school, it's too materialistic. The rich kids who got all the stuff get attention, the poor kids suffer. I'm rich myself, but I don't let any joe-shmoe know that. :p

Yeah, here we have 3 different school type things we go to (and another optional one).
Preschool (optional) -- 4 years old
Kintergarden (K) -- 5 years old
Elementary School (Grades 1 through 5) -- 6 to 10 years old
Middle School (Grades 6 through 8) -- 11 to 13 years old
High School (Grades 9 through 12) -- 14 to 17/18
Meh, close enough, you get the idea. I'm going into 11th grade on September 5th.

This reminds me of a time in 9th grade when this emo who sat next to me in class told me he was going to cut himself when he got home.
Emo kid: I am so gonna cut myself when I get home. Because I'm dark. And mysterious.
Me: Shut the fuck up. I know you're not going to cut yourself because you're a big pussy.
Emo kid: You're a liar! I am going to cut myself!
Me: Oh yeah? Prove you're not a pussy. Do it now.
At that point, I pulled a razor blade out of my backpack and tried to get him to cut himself.
I never saw him again after that day...

I remember in my second year (Grade 10, mind you), our token Texan, Danny, brought a few airsoft pistols into English class. We spent the better part of a period shooting each other by the back of the classroom, whilst our teacher read a newspaper. Fun times.

we have
Preschool: 4 years old
Primary School: Kindergarten - 6th Grade
High School: 7th Grade - 12th Grade
I guess thats why we mature faster. Because we grow up with the oldest kids around us.

Theres around 230 freshmen, second biggest grade in the class. God it was a huge amount of people even without the upperclassmen.. Also, the high school is integrated between two middle schools basically. Pretty neat because its a bunch of new kids to some people on both ends. Anyone else have anything like that?

About what I said, I never really understood why Upperclassmen hated/disliked freshman so much? I mean I'm not the cocky type, but I guess it could be because there are such things as freshman sluts that like almost/fully full grown men. :eyesroll:
So who else is a freshman and has an integrated school?

Well, admit it, everyone has seen atleast one freshman slut. I saw a bunch with miniskirt, one girl was basically walking around in undies. Sure it turned me on, but the smart side of me felt pity for the girl. You know, most sluts come with a surprise STD right? No offense to anyone out there, but I believe it's a conspiracy.
EDIT:

Well this school is pretty small/medium sized. Not really a nice fit for this many people. Only two floors, don't really know the parameters or ground coverage of the school. :\

Fucking owned. Best to weed those people out sooner than later.
Advantage to public high school: it prepares you for the real evil in the world.
Tbh. Junior High has been the three craziest years of my life thus far, and some pretty fucked up stuff goes down in the public high schools.
However, Catholic and Private high schools will prepare you for dealing and competing with the people who will some day become your business rivals.

What in the blazes is highschool. I kid I kid. Here in UK we start school at aged 4. You can go to a nursery I think at like aged 2 or 3. They teach you a few basic things there but its basically just to keep you not bored :) Nursery was the best.
Primary School 4 (reception) - 10 (Year 6)
Secondary School 10 (Year 7) to 16 (Year 11)
College (Optional) 16+ most courses are 1 or 2 years long.
University 18+ Generally due to the fact you need A levels or AS levels or a equal qualification.
Isnt too shabby, start a bit early though =\
Also its 9am to 3pm doesnt USA start at some ungodly hour like 7am?

I'm happy I don't have to go to school any more. now I get between 30 min to 1 hour and 30 min. lunch, and 4 hours of getting high off of cleaning chem. 2 hours of trash pick up, 2 hours of walking around with a vac or a mop.

Meh, I'm going to be a senior this year, it's MY THIRD HIGH SCHOOL. All my old friends from all my other schools don't really talk to me much, and overall I live so far away from them all that I can't see any of them anymore.

You wouldn't need it as a stress reliever if you hadn't got hooked on it in the first place :/
et_cg
August 31st, 2007, 02:52 AM
True, but...
I wasn't hooked in the first place. The reason why I started over a year ago was because of how shitty my life was. I was forced to live in a 40 year old trailer that you can hitch onto the back of any truch.
I had to support myself fully without income, my mom and I weren't talking at the time, and my father just made life shit because he was whipped by my step-mother.
Thank god I'm living with my mom again. Life is MUCH better here...
I wouldn't have started if I wasn't forced to live with my dad.
Any by starting I mean on a regular basis.

Horrible curriculum

Constant racism (in my last two schools)
It's just a melting pot of racist anarchists or bible pushers. Well, maybe not all of them, but hey... Being through many walks of life, I guess you could say it's just a different view once you've been there, done that.
