Because this seems too good to be true.

http://www.dataentrybusiness.com/

It's an online site that pays people to fill out forms for other companies. It's a good way for students, retired people, stay-at-home moms, and the like, to make extra money in their spare time. I just wanted to know what y'all think about it, whether it's legit or not. I might decide to try this, seeing as I've been considering buying a car, but because I work for my parents, I don't have much money. Discuss.

Don't do it.

"Great system! I love making extra cash from home. I now do this work full time because It generates more money than my normal paying job! I owe it all to your program. I have made over $8000 in the first 4 days with you! See Proof Here (http://www.dataentrybusiness.com/images/stats.gif) Thanks" - Anne, Dallas Tx

They have ads on TV about some home business thing with actors saying "I made $30,000 per second working part time." Don't go near that stuff.

We have over 8000 current members

...

Please keep in mind, We have over 100,000 working members

...

Rates of pay are excellent from $200 a day and up.

...

Our most dedicated members are earning $200+ every day

They can't do math either.

"If you complete 2 forms a day = $448 per week! (thats $1792/Month and $21,503 a Year!)"

The amount each company pays varies from $20 - $100 per form
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. :d

Anyone can do it - It really is easy...

Notice anything wrong there?

No matter what, if a high paying company wants to give you a shitload of extra money for just a few hours of work a day, they would not use a sentence like this.

It's in the rulebook, How to Spot a Scammer:lol:

Wow, I've never seen such an obvious scam before.

I thought it might be a scam. However, it was listed as the top internet money making site of 2007, so maybe I'll try it out. They do offer a money back guarantee for their sign-up fee.

Go do something a lot less suspicious. You'll be better off with that.

I also try and avoid websites with numbers in them... If you ever notice, those TV commercial's websites always have numbers in them, and for no apparent reason, as far as I can tell. They're like 187getmoneynow.com... In fact one time, I actually went to their website, and it was a go-daddy parked page. Whoops!

Looks like a scam after some research. Looks like I'll have to find some other way to make money.

Google does something similar, if I'm understanding this correctly. They pay you $10 (iirc) to go collect information on small business to add to their listings.

Then you obviously haven't been in the US public school system.

At least, not since before the Great Depression.

yeah i do 8 now.

it lasted me like 10 years (literally) so i never had to make lunch in the morning.

also dane i can do 12 if i want. but the hole reason i do this is cause i'm lazy. makeing 2 bowls of vita brix kinda defeats the purpose of the hole lazy idea :S
