Does anybody know of a good wireless keyboard for gaming bec Im going to be building a new setup around Christmas and need a keyboard that I can have in two different locations at once 9at mniter for work, and at tv for playing games. I was looking at the G7 for a mouse but have no idea about a keyboard, any sugestions? I also need a good and affordable 5.1 setup for my TV and PC. Thanks in advance.

ZBoard is a pretty good keyboard that I use. Has detachable keypads for Gaming or just Regular uses.

As for wireless, by my opinion, I never really liked it. Too glitchy sometimes. Optical is the way to go!

Hmm... I really didn't like the Zboard I played with at Quakecon :/ (it was Doom3, but I believe the layouts are all the same).

I agree with Gamerkd, wired ftw!

I never really changed out the keypads though. I just played Halo or Half Life with the regular keypad because that's what I'm so used to.

I haven't found one decent wireless keyboard to use myself, I prefer my Logitech G15 and MX518. I know Microsoft has a pretty nice wireless keyboard out though, I'll have to rummage through my files to find the link to it. I'll do that after work.

My Zboard's keys all started getting mushy after a few months of use and it got to the point that the keyboard's gaming keyset was useless because the buttons constantly got stuck. The stands also both fell out the first time I tried to use them.

If you're looking for cheap I just got myself this (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823126174)setup here. Works well enough.

Also, G15 ftw.

Yea, part of my space bar is getting stuck. I don't know how to fix it. But that didn't happen until a year and half later of use.

In my experience, wireless almost always fails. Anything wireless I've messed with (besides the TV remote) has always been unreliable. Wires are almost always better.

Wireless keyboards are useless. They always run out of power on you when you're in the middle of posting on a

as for a mouse, I would say get a reaper gaming mouse, I have one and let me tell you, it really helps speeding up your mouse movent in H2V.
oh, and don't go for wireless, unless you're not going to use it alot, I'd go for wired mouse and keyboard my self cause I don't like it when my moust dies on me when I'm trying to do something, it has happened to me.

You should get a ball mouse. Those things are awesome!

My Logitech Lx710 is decent. There are 8 programmable keys, wireless, laser mouse plenty of hot keys. $79.99 with $30.00 mail in rebate.

My G7 is about the only good wireless mouse i have used. Plus it has 2 rechargeable battery packs, and a dock to charge one on.

I'm not sure about wireless keyboards, I dont want to upgrade my G15 yet.

G7 is the best of wireless mouses but wireless always fails against wired gaming mouse. I have the Razer Copperhead, it runs 2000 dpi max. Logitech has a new wired mouse what is capable of even 3200 dpi:s, the name of the mouse is G9. (DPI is simply how sensitive and accurate the mouse is ^^)

Zboard is very good for gaming, I use this one (my brother's) and it's really useful for games like BF2. But for wireless gaming keyboards.. I think there aren't any out there.

I still say that wireless mouses were not meant to be used for gaming. Cord mouse will live on!

G7 performs just as good as a corded mouse IMO. Only problem i have is it doesn't work on my mouse pad =\

Battery charge doesn't last that long ether.

I use a wireless notebook mouse (Small size rocks, and the fact I use 1 battery instead of the standard mouse 2), I game fine with it, FPSes too. I hear wireless keyboards are a real pain, though, so haven't really wanted one.
