I've been "talking" to Boba about flight simulator x:

Rob Oplawar (9:21:03 PM): sup
BobaTheFett76 (9:21:45 PM): playing fsx
Rob Oplawar (9:22:46 PM): hah
Rob Oplawar (9:23:25 PM): i didn't realize that was a game one so much "played" as "experienced"
Rob Oplawar (9:24:00 PM): all the excitement of 20 seconds of takeoff and landing, plus a good 2 hours of cruising on autopilot!
Rob Oplawar (9:24:15 PM): it's like the fun of flying in a real plane without the real plane!
Rob Oplawar (9:24:49 PM): and when i say fun, i mean totally mind numbing boredom
BobaTheFett76 (9:24:52 PM): It has multiplayer.
Rob Oplawar (9:25:03 PM): =O
Rob Oplawar (9:25:06 PM): multiplayer
Rob Oplawar (9:25:18 PM): does someone get to play as the copilot, and run the pre flight checks?
Rob Oplawar (9:25:23 PM): that would be awesome
Rob Oplawar (9:25:44 PM): and when i say awesome, i once again mean totally mind numbingly boring
Rob Oplawar (9:26:00 PM): man, this and that desktop of yours
Rob Oplawar (9:26:20 PM): combined with your "frequent" replies to my instant messages
Rob Oplawar (9:27:08 PM): well, let's just say you've been nominated for personality of the year by golfers worldwide
BobaTheFett76 (9:27:53 PM): cool

So yeah, am I like, missing the part where this is fun?

Edit:
BobaTheFett76 (9:32:46 PM): goes full screen
Rob Oplawar (9:33:36 PM): =O
Rob Oplawar (9:33:42 PM): does the fun never cease?

Normal flight sims... meh, they're alright for exploring/stunts. I prefer combat flight sims by a mile, though.

Course. Who doesn't love blowing crap out of the sky? Which reminds me I really need to find Il-2......

Get active camera or F1view and roam around the cabin.

they have detailed cabins?

(or is this active camera part of the game and not a hack :X)

So you don't get bored as fast. :downs:

Though in all honest I do sometimes get bored of action packed skies and do enjoy a nice cruise over the ocean........then get interrupted as I run head on into a hurricane.

I play F$ '04.
I just like running into stuff with the 747. Also, that little tiny shell with wings that glides. I like using that too!

Now I wish I had room to re-install it. :(

=D D= =D D= I just realized the reason the ads have disappeared from h2v.net is that firefox is doing a terrific job of blocking them. I'm very pleased, but I can't contribute to h2v's income anymore. D=
I haven't seen any "ads by google" in ages. =D srry h2v

Can you add planes like you do in Flight Sim 04? I think it would be totally :awesome: to fly a C-130J Hercules in multiplayer, and like have all your friends form up around you in F-15's or F-22's.
