Alright i had problems installing halo 2 and i put the startup fix and it worked but than i got a message saying, one of the installation steps failed. Do yo want to retry? This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package. Than i clikc retry and nothing works? What should i do? Please help, Please help.

It help fixes peoples startup that somehow got dameged trust me it works i couldnt load the installation at all before this but please dont focus on that i need help with the redists files.

Sorry, but the WOW loader doesn't work in Vista, never has, and never will. Nice try with the creativity, though.

We do not give out install files for Halo 2 Vista on these forums under any circumstances whatsoever. Why are you scared to call Microsoft if you lost your disc? You should still have a card with your product ID inside the game's packaging in the event you need to call customer support...

look the file i used is not illegal!!! it is a new startup for the installer and im not on xp im on vista, ill the fix does is if my startup.exe got corrupted it well fix it again, the startup loaded and started to install but no it says something elese just look above to see. if anyone could upload there redists folder from your disk it would maybe help me out, thats legal to do trust me we both have a game its just something in my redists folder is corrupt and i havnt been able to get it to work for over a month now and please someone im getting pissed cause the day after i entered a 12 month and now i cant play it so please someone please see what is wrong, the intaller loads now but i still can not get it to work at all!!!!!!!!!!!!
