Help with quad shotting.

I know how to double shot, but every time i hit q twice for quad shotting like in regular halo 2 i just start reloading.. It's really starting to bug me. I think it has something to do with timing, so when exactly do I do it?:confused:

While shooting, press Alt+F4 to change firing modes
