Art classes suck and have deeply cut into my H3/360 funds. Fucking supplies costed me over 150 USD and I still need to get portfolio to protect and carry my projects. Anyone wanna help me out?

I don't understand why people do this... Asking for $, not for a need but a want. Especially on the internet. Why not ask a relative or real life friend. imo this isn't the best place to go asking for money anyway.

Drop art class. I like drawing certain objects (cars and superheroes mainly) but I almost failed art because I'm not good at those abstract things and so on. What college do you go to anyway?
If you lose your 360 funds, at least order Halo 3 anyway :P especially if it's the Legendary edition, since it will compel you to keep saving for the 360.
Also, see if you can sell some old games that you don't play anymore.

Zeph, can you list the supplies you need? I *might* have extras.

Zeph my friend, you should try wood working or welding, (or even photo class) those will take any where from $50 USD to $250 USD and up.

Silly Texrat, you can't email physical objects!
You fax them. :eng101:

Zeph, I know how you feel. I am an architecture student and my school funds get raped by studio projects.
I don't know how much time you have till you need specific supplies, but shopping on line versus your local art supply store can save you some serious cash.

Well what did you expect when you joined art Zeph?
I didn't choose art. I chose digital media. My supplies are supposed to be pixels, but I have to go learn about lines, shapes, and shit with ridiculously over-priced pieces of paper, paints, and things to make marks with >_<

I dont understand it either. I'm just hoping it works.

Cant drop it. It's part of my core :(

From what I know, all I need from now on is foam core, but I can get that by walking into an empty studio in the art building :p.
I dont think I'll have another lab intensive art class from now on.

Architecture students have the worst of it I know of. They have to drop tons of money on model materials. The arch students at UTk will spend at least 72 hours in the architecture building without leaving at some point in time just to get their work done.
ill paypal $50 for 6000 rep points
Roger. I'll get jcap on it and get you my paypal account. From that point on, you'd have 12 hours to deposit the money before the rep goes bye bye.

.................what?
Oh, you didn't do art in school? I guess that was my bonus. I did art every year of school, and when I went to college it all carried on so I can get into all the art and media courses without doing all that crap.
Also, Rob, thank god for Australia's government. I haven't payed for any of my courses and I only payed a small amount for the fees. No hefty prices for books. The government does it for us over here :/ I get to use Photoshop CS2, Dreamweaver, ArtRage, Fireworks, Illustrator, Corel Draw, Paint Shop Pro and Blender or Max for nothing. The fucking Library computers have that stuff on them as well (not max though, fucking hate max wish they had maya), so i just chill out with a coke in the library and paint crap in my frees.
I have a point: Move the fuck to Australia or New Zealand.

:( I had 350 dollars in books on top of that. It would have been another 170 more, but I found out there were copies of the rest in the campus library.
Oh, you didn't do art in school?
No, I went down the path of future music major.

I just didn't do any academic sort of subjects, like biology and advanced maths and history and shit. Just creative art subjects for me :D
