I need help! I've tryed everything!

Ok well here's what's wrong. MY halo has completely fcuked up graphics wise and no matter what i do it won't change. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling, repairing, installing on different hard drives, -safemode, running under administrator, under windows XP, 98 etc. Ever other game i have, h2v, bioshock etc, are perfectly fine, it's only Halo PC and CE thats have fucked up. I don't know what to do! Ive even tried system restore, which seemed to fix it, next time i opened it it was fucked again. Now to explain more what its doing;

The menu buttons eg: Multilayer, Settings etc, they are all white. Bold white boxes. The Halo sign is a huge white box. The background including the ring is just a bold color and all glitchy around.

In game the maps are all black, when i shoot there is like a HUGE black cloud that covers the screen, same with grenades and etc. Otherwise the map looks fucking evil. Heres some screenies. Please help :(

Hmm...this is one of the stranger cases of FUBAR graphics I've seen. I've no idea on how to fix this.

my best explanation: UMT-Teh Ganon: i belive it has to do with something you did, like a setting

try this:
uninstall gfx drivers, reinstall newest version. Reinstall halo.

I can tell you that it seems the alpha channels for everything don't seem to be working, and lights don't seem to be working either, have no idea why, other than Halo has somehow shit itself. Do you use DXTweaker on it? Maybe you have a graphics profile set for that specific program nad it's doing something.

I have no idea what has happened to your copy of HPC/your PC itself. I've had some graphics problems in the past, but nothing that strange.

Try to use DXTweaker to run it on different settings...like a different gfx card.

But yeah, what they said, all I can think of is to try reinstalling your graphics driver.

Lol, I'm such a hypocrite. I just run around ordering other people to use the wiki while I hardly ever touch it myself.
