So I was bored one day, and I decided to open up the script document for H2V. I was reading it, until this caught my mind:


(script_recompile)

recompiles scripts

I was curious about this, so I opened a map and got this:

Notice that it said: scripts successfully compiled

Now I know that we had the discussion of scripting already in H2V, and that Korn said "THERE IS NO DEV CONSOLE", but this could go on to something...

Sorry if this has already been found, or if it is stupid.

I tried this a couple of week ago with just a simple script to test if it actually did work, but nothing seemed to happen ingame.

Looks like you're recompiling pre-existing scripts?
That's what I usually think of when you recompile anything.

I noticed that too, so I did a test. I made a script with messed up letters, and it still said scripts successfully compiled. That means that we are putting the scripts in the wrong place.

Or they could be in the wrong format. They may not use .hsc anymore.

Debug Sapien with a Debugger and try to find out what it does.
