I've been holding onto this for a couple of months now- a few months back, my dad was on the rules committee for this. When they thought about offering millions of dollars to the first team to send a commercial rover to the moon, they went to my dad to ask how they should do it.

Now how cool is that?

I think the 21st century is really gearing up for some seriously cool sci-fi stuff.

The money is negligible compared to the costs of actually making whatever it takes to win the prize. You'll get the 30kk if you win, but materials and man-hours will cost upwards of double that.

Oh well yeah of course. But we're goin back to the moon, man! Exciting stuff. And talk about bragging rights.
