Well you basically have the entire decent gaming library right there. :downs:

Cool, good job, I guess. If you like weird games, get Wario Ware Smooth Moves, if not, don't. You might consider getting Mario Party 8 as well, it looks like a fun game.

1. Sell/destroy/burn/maim/crush/etc. the Wii.
2. Procure an Xbox 360. If you already have one, you may skip this step.
3. Wait in line patiently (or violently and offensively, if you prefer) for your copy of Halo 3 at a local electronics and games retail store. If you have already pre-ordered your copy, you may skip this step.
4. Play Halo 3. Repeat this step infinitely.

Well said, I'd go with this plan.

I really like Dragonball Tenkaichi 2 (http://www.atari.com.au/games/overview.do?id=589)
and I ignore the fact that it's Dragonball.

Wii Sports, Metroid, and of course the Virtual Console library (if you haven't already got PC emulators). If you do go for the Virtual Console, there's a wealth of options, each costing no more than $10. And there's the next 3D Mario platformer (Galaxy I think), although that isn't out yet.
And if you have a Nintendo DS, make sure you keep that Wii working well, because more and more Wii games will feature DS connectivity, similar to the GC-GBA connectivity but with the handheld unit being more powerful than before. Currently, the only Wii-DS connectivity is on some Pokemon game but I hope to see more. I have a DS but my console is an X360, so I cannot toy around with console-portable connectivity as of now.
The Wii's controls are actually great for shooters. The wii-mote's essentially a light-gun but with gyroscopes instead of lights (there's even a trigger on the bottom of the remote to support the gun stuff. It's just that the console lacks the technical horsepower that developers often look for in hectic action games. I heard that there's even going to be a Wii controller that offers a more gun-like feel than the Wiimote does.
sever323, that was uncalled for and made little contribution. The X360 may have Halo (which is why I got it) but Nintendo has some good games too - just that games for Nintendo systems tend to be RPGs and platformers rather than violent shooters, which are not popular in Japan. I've played with a Wii, and it's really fun, but I'd advise potential buyers to be wary if they really like shooters a lot.

Shut up. He never said anything about some unreliable Xbox.
I'd go with the games you already said you're getting, can't really add anything to that.

That's the most retarded plan ever. Halo 3 is going to shitbomb so hard.
Get SSBB when it comes out, and get Virtual Console. I recommend SF2 and Bonk's Adventure. VC is awesome.

Lol We've Already played it, so we know for a fact its not going to "shitbomb" and its an excellent game.
But I agree his comment was not needed and came of very 12 year old fanboy-ish,but its not typed like a half retarted monkey who types in 1337 wrote it - so that throws me theory off
i will probably still get a wii for SSB.

Gee.
I don't know what to say...
Except perhaps just to shut up?
If I bought a console, there is probably a reason. Perhaps I've tried it on multiple occasions, at parties and such, and really enjoyed it.
Perhaps I cannot afford an Xbox 360.*gasp!*
Who knows? Maybe I hate Halo.
Maybe I have a PC and can play Halo 1.
Maybe I've already pre-ordered halo 3 on Amazon, thus negating the wait in line, and I need to do something to bide the time?
Perhaps I live in a divorced family, and can't really tote a 360 with me back and forth?
Perhaps my 360 broke, and I don't want to replace it?
Who knows?and who cares?
But if I make a thread asking for advice on games to buy, PERHAPS I am not looking on suggestions from halo fanboys on how the wii sucks.
Face it. All systems have their problems, and all systems have their superiorities.
The Wii is fun for me. Perhaps it is different for you; perhaps you can just crawl to mommy and ask for anything you want, and then throw it away when it becomes even the least bit boring.
I'll note that you don't have rep enabled. I think I have an idea why.
Think before you talk. The wise man is the one who knows when to shut the fuck up.
To everybody else who posted, thanks, I am having a great time playing with my newly loaded games. :)
<3 Zelda.

Wrong. Halo 3's single player is gonna suck, but who plays Halo for that, right? No, the multiplayer, with all the prepubescent 13-year olds and racist frat boys with mics, is just awesome.

Am I the only person on here NOT allowed to make a joke? Or is it just too hard for you to understand anything that has some depth and structure to it? I've played on the Wii and have found it enjoyable. I have nothing against it. Just please learn to take complicated humor a bit better, everyone.
And, I'm not sorry if I have offended anyone, because all humor is, is poking fun at peoples' flaws and unfortunate situations.
