Hey i just downloaded this program "Halo 2 Third Person BETA v1.3"
When i play a game on a defualts map and 3rd person key the thing locks up my game and it shows something about DEP. "Data Evacuation Program"
This also happens with the FOV First Person too.

If you are running Windows Vista Ultimate then it won't work. It has some protection that crashes the game.

Or perhaps change the DEP settings? Control-panel, System, Advanced System settings, Performance settings, then select 'Turn on Dep (...) except those i select', then add the program that gives you the error.
Didn't test it, not using programs of that sort but it should work.
Btw, is ultimate the only version that has DEP?

Home premium (OEM, not sure about normal) has it.

I run Ultimate also and so far it works =)
I do believe that my DEP is totally disabled (since the options for enabling/disabling it is grayed out).

I think skyline is referring to it crashing his program? Not the games/server itself.

No Offence skyline but thats the Bigest Load of BS ever(well in my case) I have 5 Vista Ultimate PC's and they all run the server/game fine
Wow that post is going to backfire so badly >.>
For Ultimate...you may want to try a solution I proposed a long time ago...can't find it right now though.

HA, that's the biggest load of BS I ever heard. Learn to read. He is saying that my program is causing the game to crash, not the game to crash on it's own. Yes backfire indeed.
