Well, if you are trying to stay spoiler free then I suggest that you don't go to Bungie.net anymore as Halo 3 Stats are online. I, out of curiosity, went to check them out thinking it was only multiplayer when, in fact, there is Campaign stuff too. I was then spoiled the name of another Campaign mission:

Pirating it and/or getting a copy from a store early.

More than 8000 people actually.

If they pirated it, they would have been banned if played online.
Almost all of them are from the UK (due to the early releases), and the rest are those in the US who work for game stores (decided to sneak one out or buy one early).

All of the Bungie staff have the game, obviously, and probably some of the friends and family as well. I was looking at the stats this morning, and I too saw the name of the Campaign mission.

um...No. You are wrong. It says on HBO that BUNGIE said that if anyone plays the game early that they would be banned immediately.

MS PR Blog Confirms: No Ban for Playing Halo3 Early
>> It was already confirmed via MS spokepersons on 3rd party site, but now it's also been confirmed by the Microsoft PR Gaming Blog site (http://gamerscoreblog.com/team/archive/2007/09/19/553394.aspx):
Hopefully I can put these Halo 3 ban rumors to rest...
If you obtain a copy of Halo 3 prior to its street date of Sept 25th, you will NOT be banned from Xbox Live for playing Halo 3 early (not even my fellow softies).
