I got Half-Life from a friend, since they stopped playing it, when i get to the test chamber it freezes and i get a error report. I found it was because i had windows XP. I searched Microsoft's website and kept getting bullshit on some dumbass information on how to get update. But it won't let you. The demo worked perfectley though, some one give me answers, not questions:mad:.
I saw seven views and no replys... arg!!!

I'm confused. When did this become a Half life 2 forums? Dude, you do realize these forums are meant for Halo right? :P

EDIT: Oh, it's in the off-topic section. Well, that's still sorta...

If you're talking about the old non-Steam Half-Life, I'm not sure how to help you, but I do know that it has problems running on OS's newer than Windows 98.

The new Steam version of Half-Life works perfectly on all OS's.
