What kind your pc specs and are you using the latest drivers?
Maybe you could post a dxdiag.

or read the sticky Caboose O'Malley posted, which can be found here:

Well if it's gone, I'm glad for you.

Don't know if it could have something to do with AA settings.

No it won't go away, you need to reinstall it using the Customize Game Install option

I had this issue as well with my setup... I just restarted my pc and changed the game settings to 4xAA and they were gone. MY guess is its Z fighting with the lightmap polygons. (best way i could describe it).

Also how can you be playing 4x AA with a 8300 GS? I don't even knew such a low end card existed.

Dell? They make things worse than they really are from what I can tell. I usually run games worse than people with the same specs as me. Um do even know that just because it's a 8000 series doesn't mean it's good? 300-500 are really low end cards, 600-700 are mid range, and 800 to 950 are high end. And also you can't overclock Dell non XPS PCs, and I doubt would overclock you're card themselves if they locked mobo BIOS in the first place.

Dude, this thread's like 2 weeks old. Why do you people always bump these old threads, hell, why do you go looking them? I don't get it...
