OMG Fileplanet is so SLOW

fileplanet is so slow and ive been downloading a game for bout 2/3 hours and its only done 17% and now with all the americans and australians begining to pile on its gonna be a long night :( know any way to speed it up?

errr no its a direct2drive server, provided by fileplanet i get no choice

Shit, mine never goes below 130kb/s but that is still slow.

freeze yourself in, and have yourself un-frozen when it's done downloading.

I usually get around ~300 kb/s speed =D

See if you can find the game on a well-seeded torrent. The torrent will appear to be uber-slow at first but after a while it will increase to several hundred kb/sec.
