Your scenario is not located under your data folder but under tags. And i think you might be looking in the wrongs spot(s) for your other stuff.
If you can't find your things just use search.

UAC is User Account Control, you can disable it in the control panel.

UAC is user account control
it controls your user account, so you cant screw up important files by being an idiot.

you can disable it.
you do this in the control panel.

don't see how much plainer you want it.

Maybe when you unclicked your "read only" you accidently hit hidden? i don't know. Just for giggles unhide all and look. Probably a stupid idea but those are the ones that help me usually.

p.s. the UAC is in control panel/users and it is very helpful to disable it if you havent already.

oh, are you sure your not looking for the compiled structure file in your tags folder? or you cant find your .ass file in your data folder?

I never had any problems with UAC, so I had no reason is to disable it.

But it is recommended in most cases, since I have seen people who what a lot of problems caused by it.

If you totally explained in plain english i'm sure it would be easier. No offence, but it's hard for me to understand the problem with all the abreviations and incomplete sentences.

I'm sure if you made the video it will help people understand the problem too.

So basicly you can't see the files in your halo 2 map editor directory? I hope your looking in the program files directory because map editor makes a seperate directory in Documents.

As for the packaging problem, you and I both know the problem with that.
