Ok, here is mine, I don't have a pic, but it is funny, ok the Server I was at was Butcher's, and we were in playing that one School map, and one of the real good players there was runing to the Red base in the Warthog Spawns ( I think you know where this is going) and I'm up on top of some building lining up to get a head shot, and this Hog respawns right on top of him, just as I started to click, and it was funny, because i could of got him, but the Hog beat me to it, it was funny.

I did that with fragmentation grenades once, the strings are ment to say picked up 423 Assualt rifle bullets (or something like that) but it said fragmentation grenades instead. XD

Agreed on all points. Nonetheless, some servers on different maps would be nice once in a while. People only run 24/7 blood gulch because people will join, and people only join because it's there. It's a terrible cycle.

and these 2 last screenies where taken in my first week of playing halo. i was like :XD:, and i've been addicted ever since.
In the 126 kills it was my first time over a 100 kills i originally had a 3-1 ratio and i managed to hold off red team from scoreing. i killed about 10 ppl in a row by sniping and our flag was sitting on top of there base for so long that it respwnd to our base.

Yeah, I go for the cap but rarely ever get help. Really helps your individual technique though... I've perfected DC capping to the point where the other team only realise I've got their flag as I vanish over the hill in a Hog or Ghost.

About half of an old copy of Diesel's 3rd Server banlist.

When you attempt to join a server, it compares your CD key hash to THAT list to see if there are any matches. The name is more or less an identifier, and has no more function than just making it easier to sv_unban a player.

The only time an IP appears in Halo's server stuff is in the logs, when a JOIN or QUIT is logged.

The "giant-ass" Bungie crosshairs give a fairly accurate zone on where bullets land.

The only crosshair I find obtrusive is the fuel rod gun's; then again, the whole weapon is intrusive. All of the other reticles are simple circles no more than 1, maybe 2 pixels wide.

Of course, full auto fire with any weapon will make it fall outside of the crosshair. As for the shotgun, you're not exactly in its most effective range, and besides, half of the pellets landed in the reticle. And the needler reticle is fine for me. Instead of landing within the crosshair, most shots land ON them; it still provides a boundary. That, and needler needles home in.

Try this: fire short bursts with the assault and plasma rifle. A vast majority, if not all shots, will land in the reticle. Someone peppering you at that distance will have a much greater chance of killing you than someone who lays down on the trigger.

He changed the reticle on all weapons to a little tiny cross, saying that it's better because it's unobtrusive. I was arguing the fact that the default reticles are fine because they give a fairly accurate depiction of where the bullets will land.

The last picture fried doesnt count as it should home in, unless you mean against a vehicle, which is likely to be moving so you would need to lead anyways.

But yeah halo rectiles arent really great, pistol is pretty much the only great one.

Fried when you used the AR, did you hold it down or do like 1 shot, wait a second or to for the recoil to settle? I doubt you did the question is, if you have an enemy in the rectile, will it hit them if you do like you did with that wall? (taking out the range factor of course)
