w/e the Japanese are getting close to having that cloaking thing working, where you wear clothing with little cameras that display the image from each side onto the screens on the opposite side of the clothing.

Germans do have some awesome camo though. Haven't seen anything that works on par with CADPAT in the bush up here though. Remember I play airsoft, and the guys that I play with, go all out, I've seen pretty much all the types of camo you can think of, from OD to that crazy Australian blotchy stuff. CADPAT is the king out here (as long as you have the actual holographic type).

Yeah, it depends on location, really. Our DPM works pretty well out here because there are a lot of faded browns and greens, whereas British DPM is really saturated browns, yellows, and dark greens because it's so much lusher there. Flecktarn works in a lot of places and looks awesome, ditto pea-dot '44. Splittertarn is probably pretty effective in European farmland. One of the guys on the STS forums actually designs camo patterns for the Norwegians and a lot of his are based on Flecktarn, with different colour variations. He made one for his own backyard, it worked perfectly.
